Trendy Bakers Twine~He Is Risen Card

Hello all! It is time for another post for the Trendy Twine blog! We have been getting some sunny days lately, and this card captures some of that cheerfulness. The featured Trendy Twine of the month on this card is Bubblegum Taffy.
To begin with, I adhered patterned papers from Echo Park's Have Faith collection onto a kraft cardstock mat. I then used a small hole punch to add 2 holes in each corner to weave Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine through. I thought it created a fun border and great visual interest. For the focal point, I used an oval die with white cardstock and a scalloped oval die with vellum to create the background. I then die cut the Cottage Cutz He Is Risen die cross and words with navy blue cardstock and glued them to the vellum with Bearly Art glue. The top layer of the cross was cut from white glitter cardstock and also glued ontp the cross base. I used foam tape to pop up the oval onto the card front. For extra shimmer, I ran around the outer edge of the scalloped circle with Clear Glitter Wink of Stella, then added Cotton Candy Sequins in the four corners of the card with Glue Dots glue squares

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

If you don't need a full spool, you can find Bubblegum Taffy in our Aqua Sampler  PLUS Aqua Licorice, Aqua Midnight, and Twisted Gumball. Each twist is ten yards in length and comes on a wooden clothespin.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Golf 80th Birthday Card

Hello all! I am back to share a card that I created last year, but didn't have time to share it yet! It was a requested theme and since no one in my family golfs, I didn't have any craft supplies that pertained to that theme. Pinterest to the rescue for ideas that used basic craft supplies!
Patterned papers are from the Pebbles Lakeside paper pad. The green oval was die cut with a Cottage Cutz stitched oval die, then I used a circle punch for both the hole in the green and the golf ball. I used Totally Kraft Trendy Twine to make the flag pole. The 80 was stamps from the Craftin Desert Divas Bring on the Cake stamp set and the sentiment was from Whimsy Stamps Boy Talk set. Both were stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Graduation Cards

Hello all! I am back again with another large grouping of cards. This time it is graduation cards because my oldest child is graduating in May and I want to have plenty of cards made ahead for graduations we will be invited to! These are all created with Echo Park Graduation supplies...6x6 papers, 12x12 papers, and ephemera.
All of these cards were based on the No Scraps Sketch Set #1 from Bourbon Creek Crafts. I really love that sketch! Additional supplies used on these cards include: ATG, Bearly Art precision glue, Foam Tape, gold and black thin tape, and Cottage Cutz stitched circle dies.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Batch of Boy Cards

Hello all! Today I am sharing a batch of boy cards that I recently created. I used focal points and scraps of paper from the Echo Park All Boy 6x6 paper pad. You can see another group of cards I created with those papers HERE.
This first card has a sports theme to it. Embellishments include Park Lane 3mm gold gems and Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine. The tan banner was popped up with foam tape for extra dimension.
This next card is a neutral theme and is all adhered on one level with ATG for easy mailing. A trio of GMD Strawberry Shortcake enamel dots were the only embellishment I added to it.
The next two cards have a bit more color and paper pieces !
I thought this dinosaur themed card was adorable! Once again, this card is all adhered with ATG, for no extra dimension. I did use Bearly Art Precision glue to add a trio of Twisted Lime sequins onto the front.
Last of all is this super hero themed card. I did pop up this focal point with foam tape and glued Merry sequins with Bearly Art precision glue to finish it off. Now I have several boy cards in my stash and I was able to use up some scraps!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
